SDG 17 Partnerships for the goals

Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
Achieving the ambitious targets of the 2030 Agenda requires a revitalized and enhanced global partnership that brings together Governments, civil society, the private sector, the United Nations system and other actors and mobilizes all available resources. Enhancing support to developing countries, in particular the least developed countries and the small island developing States, is fundamental to equitable progress for all.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 17

Nor-Shipping initatives
We have a established green partnerships with UN Global Compact, Oslo Green Captial of the Year 2019, Katapult Ocean, Mercy Ships, NSB (free train transport for delegates) and many more.
Nor-Shipping and Nordic Innovation have partnered to help facilitate a new funding instrument aimed at supporting innovation and collaboration between land-based and ocean industries.
Nor-Shipping is also aiming to set a new benchmark for the maritime and ocean event segment with a move to achieve ISO 20121 certification from DNV GL. The initiative is a collaborative effort in support of SDG 17.
In addition we aim to use our arenas, such as the Podiums and the Blue Economy Hall, to address global partnerships for sustainability.
